Motorcycle safety courses are offered at 29 Minnesota State College and Universities campuses from mid-April through the first weekend in October. Please contact the college (see list of colleges below) at which you would like to take a course. If you have further questions, please review the list of Frequently Asked Questions (in PDF format), or contact the training center you'll be attending. To operate a motorcycle on public roads in Minnesota, you must have a motorcycle instruction permit or license endorsement. To earn a permit or endorsement, you must first have a valid Minnesota driver's license. To receive a motorcycle endorsement through the BRC, you must be 18 years or older and possess a valid Minnesota driver's license and motorcycle permit before taking the BRC. If you are younger than 18 years old, you must complete the MMSC BRC and have a valid Minnesota driver's license before you can receive your permit or endorsement.
